Meet Brittany Dorsey, Heard County’s Teacher of the Year! She teaches second grade at Centralhatchee Elementary School and loves her Terrific Turtles!

CES Principal Dawn Bennett nominated Mrs. Dorsey, and says that Mrs. Dorsey goes above and beyond at work and at home. Dr. Bennett said, “She communicates daily with her parents, posts activities on her Facebook page, and, the kids all love her! You never see her without a smile on her face and a positive word for all that she sees.”

Dr. Sarah had the pleasure of providing professional support in the use of “Read with Sarah” for Mrs. Dorsey. She totally agrees with Dr. Bennett’s words!
