  • Modeled Comprehension Strategies Booklet for 30 educators.

ü      Includes 17 strategies for teachers at all grade levels to model with their students.

     

ü      Includes information of how and when to use these strategies during daily reading instruction.

 

PLUS

 

 Professional Learning Support

 

  • One day of training by an AlphaSkills consultant for 30 educators on how to use the booklet effectively.

 

(Four one hour sessions during the day.  School will assign teachers to attend one of the four sessions.)

 

  • One day of Modeled Comprehension Strategies demonstration lessons by an AlphaSkills consultant with students following the initial training date.

(Four one hour sessions during the day.  Sessions will include a 40 minute demonstration lesson with six students and a 20 minute follow-up review with teachers.  School will assign teachers to attend one of the four sessions.)
