Success Story

At the beginning of the year, all of my students with the exception of one were reading on grade level. I only used the basal with them and did not see any progress. Early in January I began to use “Read with Sarah” and the children were interested in reading and eager for groups every day. They would relate what we read to other information. And most importantly, I discovered that my “lowest” reader became more motivated to read and wasn’t really a “lowest” reader!

N. L. C., Second Grade Teacher

Success Story

Peyton was placed in “Read with Sarah” but disliked reading. His beginning S.T.A.R. IRL level was 5th grade. He finished the year with a S.T.A.R. IRL level of 8th grade. Peyton’s attitude improved about reading. In class he would complete his assignments and ask me if he could go ahead and read in his “Read with Sarah” book. I am pleased with Peyton’s progress and the success that he was able to achieve through the RWS program.

B.R., Sixth, Seventh and Eighth Grade Reading Teacher

Success Story

As a veteran teacher of students with special needs, I have spent years looking for a program that would assist my students in their reading while allowing them the ability to do the “same work” as regular education students. (Believe me, they know when materials are not the same.) This is it!!!!! My students loved the books and I loved that the lessons were done for me. My children have improved so much they are actually a little “cocky” about reading now. Thanks Sarah!

J.K., Fourth and Fifth Grade Teacher.
