The ™ program has worked effectively for students with special needs since it began in 1997.  Growth in reading of  students  with special needs has been monitored by school after school for measuring Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) growth for No Child Left Behind (NCLB).  Training for these teachers, as for all teachers of  ,  includes modeling, guiding and independent practice.
