AlphaSkills Pre-K Curriculum, an approved Bright from the Start choice, includes at least three different “Music and Movement” activities for each day in the 30 different thematic units.

Students are exposed to many, many different genres of music from classical to favorite children’s tunes. The students are active as they sing, move around, and play real or pretend musical instruments.
Why is this important?

Research says, “Studies show children who sing or play an instrument have a stronger ability to hear the sounds that make up words and sentences, a key reading skill.”
