“The life of a Pre-K teacher involves tying shoes dozens of times a day!” Just ask GA Pre-K Teacher of the Year Jodi McNamara as posted on the Bright from the Start website.

This post just made Dr. Sarah laugh! She regularly visits Pre-K classrooms. One day, about this time of year, a little boy asked her for help tying his shoes. As she began helping, she could see, out of the corner of her eye, many other little four year olds gently untying theirs. They just wanted her attention! The teacher commented, “We are hoping Santa delivers lots of new Velcro shoes!” Just a fun memory!
