After about 14 years of attending musical performances of our grandchildren in Baldwin County Schools, Fleming and I recently attended the last one. The first began with Califf as a third grader in the Blandy Hills Elementary Chorus. He later played the trumpet in his middle and high school band. William played the clarinet and Griffin played the French horn in both performing and marching bands. Sarah has played the flute in the performing band and worked hard to earn a position to play the cymbals in the marching band. In her last performance, she had the opportunity to play both. We are proud of the wonderful influence that music and the arts have had on their lives.
