Malcolm Mitchell sharing about the impact of reading on his life and receiving a copy of his book were truly awesome experiences. Hearing Governor and First Lady Deal tell the story of their son’s problems in learning to read, and Dr. Sarah’s role in helping them, provided an unexpected but cherished memory. And, spending time with two very special friends, Dr. Keisha Callins and Lisa Kinnemore, who serve on the Sandra Dunagan Deal Center Governing Board, made the conference perfect!
